KALKAN
The lovely town of Kalkan is situated on Turkey's beautiful Mediterranean coast, nestled in a bay at the foot of the imposing Taurus mountains.
Once a small fishing village, Kalkan is now expanding, however the cobbled stone little streets in the old town and harbour remain as quaint and full of character as ever. The shopping here is a real delight where you are sure to find a great variety of goods to suit all tastes.
The area includes many historical sites and lovely sandy beaches.
Kalkan town has a pretty beach with clear turquoise water. The waters around Kalkan Bay have a blue flag award for cleanliness and offer a variety of water sports and diving.
Kalkan is renowned for its beach clubs around the bay some of which can be reached by a complimentary boat.
